Our Mission
Care for Cats
NestCats is not only a space for local artisans, but also a project that supports the cats living alongside us — an essential part of the atmosphere of the cities we work in.
A portion of our sales is dedicated to helping cats through our collaboration with Udruga Sklonište dobrote, an organization operating across Croatia.
The organization connects volunteers in different cities and ensures that support reaches the places where it is most needed. This makes the help direct and effective.
In this way, every purchase in our store becomes a small contribution to their care.
If you wish, you can also support their work directly.
In our store, you can also take free cat food and feed street cats — a small but meaningful act of care.

Katja Karmelić is a jewellery artist from Split whose handmade creations reflect the warmth, beauty, and light of the Adriatic coast. Working in different techniques and styles, she creates pieces that feel delicate, personal, and full of Mediterranean spirit. Beyond her talent, Katja is also a wonderful mother and a truly warm-hearted person whose energy can be felt through every detail she makes. Her jewellery carries a sense of sun, sea, and summer — small pieces of Dalmatia that our guests can take with them long after their journey ends.
